Kashiwa Mochi

Designed around the theme of traditional Japanese sweet called “Kashiwa Mochi”, this suite features a king size bed, an outdoor private bath and a separate lounge space looking over a private garden. In this room, several parts of the building structure were preserved in its original condition. This includes an old Japanese pine tree in the garden and two “Tokonoma” (traditional built-in display space) encasing contemporary objects that were custom designed or selected to highlight the theme.
