A stroll away from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nazuna Kyoto Gosho is a 7 room “Wagashi” (traditional Japanese confections) themed luxury Ryokan spanning across two, large scale “Kyomachiya” (traditional Kyoto-style townhouse). Each room is designed differently with their very own Wagashi theme. Upon stepping in, you will discover a lobby with an expansive ceiling that have been preserved from when the space was once used as warehouse for grand pieces of lumber. The lobby branches off into 4 guest rooms and further in, opens into a Japanese garden where guests may enjoy the seasons of Kyoto. Through the garden is the second Kyomachiya, complete with 3 guest rooms, as well as a dining/lounge space where guests may enjoy a Japanese breakfast in the morning or complimentary beverages in the evening.
