【New Open in February 2019】A stroll away from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nazuna Kyoto Gosho is a "Wagashi" (traditional Japanese confections) themed luxury "Ryokan" (Japanese-style inn) spanning across two, large scale "Kyomachiya" (traditional Kyoto-style townhouse) adjoined at the center by a Japanese garden.
Upon stepping into Nazuna Kyoto Gosho, you will discover a lobby with expansive ceilings that have been preserved from when the space was once used as warehouse for grand pieces of lumber.
The lobby branches off into guest rooms, each designed differently with their very own "Wagashi" theme.
Further in, the lobby opens into a Japanese garden where guests may enjoy the seasons of Kyoto.
Through the garden is the second "Kyomachiya,"replete with a another, diverse collection of "Wagashi" themed guest rooms, as well as a hall where guests may enjoy a Japanese breakfast in the morning, or complimentary beverages ranging from wine to "Shochu" (traditional Japanese liquor) in the evening.
